SEO consultations are one-on-one training sessions that take place between members of your staff and myself. I highly recommend that you include multiple members of your staff during your SEO consultation.
Most businesses that work with me find that my SEO consultations are extremely thorough and they learn more about digital marketing in one hour with me rather than spending months and thousands of dollars doing it themselves or hiring a digital marketing agency.
SEO consultations are perfect affordable SEO options for a company who is either interested in Do-It-Yourself (DIY) SEO or for those who want to know more how to rank higher in search engines like Google.

Process for an SEO consultation
At least two business days before an SEO consultation, I like to take about 15-minutes and get to know you over the phone. During this time, I will ask you specific questions about your business and brand. For example
- For what is your brand known?
- How did the business get started and why?
- How long have you been in business?
- Who are your biggest competitors?
- How much do you already know about SEO?
After we talk, I take the time to read and analyze the content on your site. I take notes and pay close attention to the words you use, link placement, information hierarchy, and the tone of which you speak to your audience.
The content on your site is most crucial. However, it isn’t everything.
I also test the technical elements of your site (site speed, mobile-responsive, etc.), research your off-site SEO (backlinks, online reviews reputation, social media, etc.), spy on your competitors to figure out their strategies and identify opportunities to help you win searches.
Once I collect the data, I create a customized powerpoint deck and share it with you over the phone. I explain the different aspects of SEO and how it affects your current rankings. We then decide on a course of action tailored to the needs of your business structure.
Not every company can make the necessary changes required to win desired searches, so this step allows companies to prioritize the most crucial SEO elements first before fine-tuning their site with the smaller details.
